Who is eligible to use Mada?
To apply for Mada, you must be a Jordanian citizen, at least 18 years old, hold a valid Jordanian national ID card, and have a verifiable source of income. You must also have your Digital ID and e-signature activated through the SANAD app to complete your fully digital onboarding journey. Eligibility is subject to Mada’s verification and approval process. Meeting the basic requirements does not guarantee approval.
Do I need to provide ID or financial documents?
You’ll need to provide valid identification and the information requested during registration. Mada may request additional details to assess eligibility. Submit documents only through Mada’s approved channels.
Is Mada regulated?
Mada is participating in the testing and evaluation phase within the Central Bank of Jordan’s Regulatory Sandbox for Fintech Innovation (JoRegBox).
Does using Mada affect my CRIF score?
Yes. In line with regulatory requirements, your approved spending limit is reported to CRIF, along with your repayment activity. Timely payments contribute positively to your credit profile, while missed or delayed payments may negatively impact your credit score.
